I am delighted to announce The Somerset Barn, a collection of memoir essays, poems and images, is available from all leading bookstores from 1st September 2026. I launched the publication on the 6th September at the Tears in the Fence Festival.
I will be reading from The Somerset Barn with the Fountain Poets in Wells on November 2nd, and at Words Underground in Shaftesbury, Dorset on October 30th.
Federation of Writers (Scotland)
My winning Flash Fiction story has been published along with a poem in the 20th Anniversary Anthology.
Last year I was delighted to be reading in Edinburgh with members of the Federation of Scottish Writers. My poem was included in the wonderful 2024 anthology, A Playground in Beijing.
It has been wonderful to hear from readers of A Walk in Deep Time in Australia, Canada, the USA and Europe, including France and Portugal. Here is A Walk in Deep Time being read in Ireland.
A Walk in Deep Time was published in 2022. The fabulous reception it has received is shown on the review and comments pages.
This photo is from the wonderful day my books arrived. Holding them in my hands for the first time was an amazing experience and they arrived just in time for my reading at the Tears in the Fence Festival at the beginning of September 2022. The next Festival, in September 2023 has details on the Festival page.
